Entirely made in 3D (CGI),
the story will take place after the Mandalorian wars but before the return of the exile (-3960 before the battle of Yavin) :
"The Republic spies have located tracks of Sith vessels around Malachor V. This planet was once habitable but is now completely deserted due to the instability of the system and the Mandalorian wars. Several cruisers are sent to identify the threat."
Through this article, I’m presenting my progress concerning this project, as well as my various 3D / VFX creations.
(Note that the 3D models of the ships (exterior view) are imported from the game "Knights Of the Old Republic" and were not made by myself. All credits for these models and textures go to Bioware.)

I was indeed able to rework it in order to match the deck of a republic cruiser.
The hologram made with After Effets software represents the planet Malachor V.
The 3D Modeling / Animation is entirely done on 3ds max software, it is the key step in the development of all the objects in the scene. Once all the polygons have been assembled, they must then be brought to life thanks to light show and textures in Photoshop.
It is a titanic job which requires a lot of rigor and patience.
Here below, I’m showing you two 3D creations first with their rendering without texture, and secondly with their final rendering (after adding textures / lights / VFX).
Animation is once again paramount, especially in a movie like Star Wars. Each vessel movement must be fluid and coherent. Every second should be dynamic and nice to watch. The VFX via (Adobe After Effects) are there to sublimate the whole, and intensify the realism of the scene.
